These deficiencies affect the ability of Virginia’s dairy industry to ship Grade A milk and milk products in interstate commerce. Virginia is not meeting the minimum federal requirements to evaluate at least 80 percent of all permitted milk haulers every two years or inspect at least 80 percent of all permitted milk tank trucks each year.
